  • This ebook was so helpful! I did not have a “typical” breastfeeding experience with my first (exclusive pumping for the first few months) and I really wanted to brush up on all the newborn stuff again. It reminded me of all the research I did before and gave me a lot of new information that I had never heard. I feel much more prepared this time, even though it feels like the first time I’m breastfeeding a newborn. I love that I have this resource available for such an affordable price. Highly recommend!

  • So helpful as a first time mom! Helped me to feel as prepared as possible, and am 6 months into breastfeeding now. I think this would be helpful for any mom!

  • I have both the ebook and audiobook. They were very helpful. As a first time mom I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. Reading/listening to it before the baby came really helped to understand what to expect, basic information about breastfeeding and lots of tips. Nothing can FULLY prepare you for breastfeeding, but this was a great starting point.

  • This ebook was definitely a building block to success with my breastfeeding journey! As a FTM I wanted to learn everything I could, but this book offered some things that other resources didn’t. In particular, the section on manual prenatal expression was great and super practical. The L&D nurses were all super impressed with my hand expression skills and the fact that I came in with harvested colostrum! I definitely recommend this book— it’s affordable and so useful!

  • There’s so much valuable information in this book! I purchased while I was in the hospital after delivering because it wasn’t released yet while I was pregnant. Even if the title says during pregnancy, it’s absolutely still helpful when baby is here. I was able to breastfeed for 14 months and was prepared to go longer before my child weaned themselves. It’s a great guide to help you find what works for you and baby!

  • I purchased this eBook while I was in my 3rd Trimester with my second baby. I had breastfeeding experience with my first but I wanted to make sure to get off on a great start the second time around. This was such an easy read and gave me so many helpful tips that I had no idea about. I would definitely recommend for any soon to be mom (1st, 2nd, 3rd time) as it helps give confidence for successful breastfeeding.

  • I have both the audio book and ebook and HIGHLY recommend these to any expecting parent who will be breastfeeding or supporting a breastfeeding parent. I listened to the audio book multiple times during my pregnancy. It helped prepare me in so many ways, but in particular, it helped me integrate my desires around breastfeeding into my birth plan, so that the labor and delivery team and my husband knew exactly how to support me and my baby as soon as she was born. Within minutes of her birth, she was latched and nursing. I attribute that early start to our success in the days and weeks to come. This book also encouraged me to set breastfeeding goals, which really helped carry me forward when things got tough. My baby is now 8 months, and we’re still going strong. If breastfeeding is important to you (and of course, this is a highly personal choice, and there’s no right or wrong), I highly recommend incorporating this book into your preparation.

  • I loved this ebook. First time mom. Neither my mom nor grandmother breastfed so I didn’t know where to start. Nurse Hanna does a great job giving you the necessary information, as is also evident in her IG and blog content. It really is a great place to start when you’re looking for guidance. In my case it helped me prepare for that first week when my baby struggled to latch, and again later on when I unexpectedly had a dip in my supply and I freaked out. Less stress as a result of my confidence due to what I learned from this book. Absolutely recommend it if breastfeeding is the route you want to go.

    Reasons I loved the book:
    1. Easy to digest mentally
    2. Easy to follow
    3. Straight forward and not overwhelming with unnecessary information
    4. Gives run down of common struggles in the beginning so you have an idea of what to expect and what to look for
    6. She writes to inform all of us on breastfeeding regardless of how we gave birth to our babies
    5. Affordable!!!
